IEEE ANTS 2023 - Message from Workshop Chairs

On behalf of the IEEE ANTS 2023 Workshop organizing committee, we would like to express our sincere gratitude for your active participation in this year's workshop. Your enthusiasm and contributions have played a pivotal role in making the event a resounding success.

The intent of the workshops is to cover specialized topics by a combination of invited talks, regular papers, and panel discussions. For this year, proposals were solicited which were aligned with the theme of the conference "Ubiquitous networking for seamless connectivity". Therefore, to make the workshops more relevant, appropriate topics were emphasized. Workshops highlighted current topics related to technical and business issues that encourage the active participation of students, researchers, academia, government, and industry professionals. In the proposed workshops, along with invited talks from distinguished scientists working in related fields, technical paper sessions were also included.

Throughout the conference, we witnessed engaging discussions on a wide range of topics that are organized based on the following seven workshops.

  • Workshop on Optical Wireless Communication Systems (WOWS)
  • FOGPLAT: 2nd Workshop on Fog Computing-based Security Frameworks for IoT Botnet Attack Prevention and Detection
  • Workshop on Ensuring Security, Trust, and Privacy in Industrial IoT Systems
  • Workshop on Standards-Driven Research
  • 8TH International Workshop on 5G and Future Wireless Technology (5GFWT 2023)
  • Selected Topics in 6G Wireless Communications
  • Next Generation Networking: Exploring the Convergence of Metaverse and 6G

Our invited speakers delivered insightful talks, providing valuable perspectives on the current landscape and future directions of networking. The technical sessions were rich with diverse presentations, fostering knowledge exchange and encouraging collaborative discussions. As we reflect on the workshop's success, we recognize that it is the collective effort of the participants, speakers, and organizers that made it possible. Your engagement and active involvement have contributed to the creation of a dynamic and intellectually stimulating environment. We encourage you to continue the dialogue initiated during the workshop and to explore potential collaborations that may have arisen from the interactions. Networking is not just about connecting devices; it's about connecting people, ideas, and opportunities.Once again, thank you for your valuable contributions to the IEEE ANTS 2023 Workshops. We look forward to your continued involvement in future events and hope that the connections made during the workshop will lead to fruitful collaborations.

Sincerely,
