IEEE ANTS 2023 - Message from WIE Chairs

It is our pleasure to welcome all of you to the Women In Engineering (WIE) mini-conference, which is part of the 17th IEEE International Conference on Advanced Networks and Telecommunications Systems (IEEE ANTS 2023), being held on December 17 - 20, 2023, at Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT) Jaipur, India. The goal of this mini-conference is to provide an unprecedented opportunity for women engineers to network and demonstrate their skills and knowledge.

This year WIE track held on December 19, 2023, and women from the networking and telecom sectors from around the world have expressed an interest in sharing their technical knowledge on a variety of research topics, such as optical networking, connectivity for health care, cellular/5G networks, security, routing, blockchain and so on.

Out of the 33 valuable research findings submitted from authors across the globe, 16 papers were accepted for oral presentation at the mini conference. Each paper was blind reviewed by three, sometimes four technical experts. These papers were grouped into three sub-tracks: Security and routing, optical communication and networks, cellular/5G networks.

We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all program committee members whose diligence, dedication, cooperation, and hard work contributed to the execution of this high-quality conference. We extend our deepest gratitude to the talented women researchers and engineers who have shared their expertise during the conference. Your dedication and contributions are pivotal in fostering a diverse and dynamic engineering community. Our sincere appreciation to the reviewers for their expertise, and tireless commitment to the peer-review process which has played a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and rigor of the research presented at the conference. Our special thanks to Prof. Kusum Deep, IIT Roorkee for agreeing to share her expertise and unique insights in the invited talk.

Let's carry the spirit of this conference with us. Stay connected, stay inspired, and let's reconvene with even more to share and celebrate Women In Engineering!!
